Vision

tangenit was formed in 2016 to nurture the seed of an idea that has grown to become the tangenit Framework. This is the engine that powers what we do, and what sets us apart from other database applications.

In 2019, we are proud to say that the Framework is proven for extended use, having been used to develop and deploy two separate systems into two NHS Trusts. These systems are used daily in a clinical setting and have been subjected to extensive field testing, thus providing validation for the Framework, and for our approach.

Whilst our history is rooted in the NHS, our development methodology and Framework mean that we can produce database applications for any requirement, and our offering is in no way geared to any specific industry or vertical market.

Beyond the ability to produce browser-based, desktop-like, feature-rich, stable database applications, the Framework also has a great deal more untapped potential, about which we are very excited.

Our internal road-map is burgeoning with possibilities, and as we move through future deployments, these will be prioritised. However, the vision for how our offering will extend to help customers improve data use in the future is already underpinning everything we do today.
